What Notre Dame de Sion Students are Saying and Doing

These are students in Dennis Conaghan's first hour world geography class. The class is really hyped up about recycling used cell phones after participating in the first ever Students Going Green Handset Drive. One of the students, Paige Kerley, came dressed as one of Dianes Fossy's Gorillas named Simba and was inspired to do so by the plight of the Eastern Lowland gorilla as described in the PowerPoint presentation at the Handset Drive.

The other girls in the class are Bridget Barry,Sophia Chang, Madden Hodes, Nikki Koppers, Briana Latson, Becky Linville, Becky Ramm, Lauren Roberts, Ellen Romano, Mackenzie Schulte, Taylor Thompson, Jacqueline Tinoco, Josie Vignatelli, Devlin Woods, Michelle Nogalski.

Paige said she would volunteer to be the Govios national gorilla.
